M. on April 19, 1974. Members Present: B. L. Perkins, Chairman Robert E. Karns W. M. Philips W. Garnett White Members Absent: Ned Julian Others Present: Bill Braceland Al Payne The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. • The following letter was submitted to the Board for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your considera- tion in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to side yard setback requirements in SR -1, Single - Family Residential Dwelling Zoned District. Legal description being the South 29 feet of Lot 79 and the North 48 feet of Lot 80, Pinehurst Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 3 page 71 Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. Property location being 2017 Chase Avenue, Sanford, Florida. The planned use of the property is personal residence. • Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. William F. Baskerville Owner 1 Board of Adjustment April 19, 1974 Page 2 110 Mr. Baskerville explained that his request .had, been made for the variance of 3'6" in the side yard setback requirement in order to extend the garage and utility room at his residence, as the first phase in enlarging his home. He submitted the following letter as evidence that his neighbors had no objections. William F. Baskerville 2017 Chase Avenue Sanford, Florida 32771 1 April 1974 This letter is to inform my neighbors of my intent to add new construction to my home located at 2017 Chase Ave., Sanford, Fla. As a part of this construction I am requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the Side (South) yard setback requirements in our SR -1 Zoned District. I am requesting a variance of 3'6 ". This will leave a distance from the house to the edge of the property line of 4'. The distance remaining at completion of construction between the house at 2017 and 2021 Chase Ave. will be in excess of 16'. It is my intent that the area of variance shown on the plans • for construction as garage and utility room are planned for, and intend to be used for, that purpose only. Smith 2012 Chase Ave. 2018 Chase Ave. After consideration, Mr. White moved to grant a variance of 3' 6" in the side yard setback requirements at the south side of 2017 Chase Avenue, for the extension of the garage and utility room.
