Special Meeting
July 5, 1973
The Board of Adjustment met in special session at the City
Hall at 10:00 A. M. on July 5, 1973.

Al Payne, Building Inspector
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Mr. Bob Goetsinger appeared in behalf of Mr. Bob Gregory of
Gregory Lumber Company to request a variance in the Zoning
Ordinance as it pertains to front and side yard setback re-
• quirements in a GC -2, General Commercial District, in NW4 of
Block 7, Tier 10, E. R. Trafford's Map of Sanford. The gen-
eral location of the property being at the southeast corner
of Holly Avenue and West Fifth Street.
The planned use of the property is the addition of a building
for fork -lift storage shed. The street sides of the building
would be of enclosed steel construction. The entire block
belongs to Gregory Lumber Company and there would be 35 feet,
plus the alley, between this addition and the nearest building.
After discussion, on motion of Mr. White, second of Mr. Julian
and carried by a unanimous vote, a variance in the setback re-
quirements of 25 feet on the Holly Avenue side and of 10 feet
on the West Fifth Street side was granted.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
