The Board of Adjustment met in special session at the City
Hall at 3:30 P. M. on June 19, 1973.
Members Present:
B. L. Perkins, Chairman
Ned Julian
W. M. Philips
W. Garnett White
Members Absent:
Robert Karns
Others Present:
Bill Braceland, Building Official
W. E. Knowles, City Manager
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
• Mr. Knowles, City Manager, presented site plan and Fire
District requirements for proposed Fire Sub - Station on
Highway 17 -92 and future entrance to Hidden Lake. Gen-
erally described as adjacent to Movie -land Drive -in
Theatre. This is a GC -2, General Commercial District
requiring 10 -foot side setbacks and 15 -foot side setback
for corner lot. Request was made for variance to 5 -foot
setbacks to allow construction of proposed Fire Sub -
Station.
A motion was made to approve the side lot variance to
5 -foot on each side lot by Mr. White, seconded by Mr.
Perkins and carried unanimously.
A motion was made to adjourn, was seconded and carried.
