• BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
July 21, 1972

C. W. Cooper, Building Official
The Chairman called the meeting to order.
The first item was to consider a variance request for the
Gulf Station at Santa Barbara and French Avenue.
Remodeling will cost about $25,000 and will include putting
a brick face, restoring restrooms, new roofing, pouring new
concrete driveways, and putting a canopy over pumps.
They need a variance of three feet from front to the supports
• on canopy.
Garnett White made a motion to approve the variance seconded
by Mr. Phillips.
The next item was to consider a variance for eight feet on
fifth street and twenty feet in front on Maple Avenue, re-
quested by Gregory Lumber. Planning to construct new building
and enlarge showroom. They are prepared to handle any parking
problems should any arise.
Mr. Karns made motion to grant both variances seconded by Mr.
White.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
