HomeMy WebLinkAbout05011972 min BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Air May 1, 1972 3:30 P.M. The Board of Adjustment met in a reconvened session of the adjourned meeting of April 27, 1972. The meeting had been adjourned due to lack of a quorum. Members Present: B. L. Perkins, Chairman Ned Julian W. Garnett White Wally Phillips Members Absent: Robert Karns Others Present: L. J. Risner, Building Official 411 The Chairman called the meeting to order. The following letter was submitted to the Board for con- sideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to rear yard setback requirements in a R -IA, Single Family Dwelling Zoned District. Legal description being Lot 1, and N. 2 of Lot 2, Block 11, High- land Park Subdivision, Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. Property located at Community Way and Coronado Concourse, Sanford, Florida. 411 The planned use of the property is to permit construction of a single family dwelling. Riddle OWNER By: Hal Harris, Representative Mr. Risner was called upon to explain the requested variance. Mr. Riddle, the property owner, is requesting a variance of eight (8') feet in the rear yard setback requirement to permit the construction of a single family dwelling. This variance being requested due to the unusal shape of the corner lot. After discussion by the Board members, Mr. Phillips moved that the eight (8') foot variance in the rear yard be grant- ed.
