The Board of Adjustment met in a reconvened session of the
adjourned meeting of April 27, 1972. The meeting had been
adjourned due to lack of a quorum.
Members Present:

The Chairman called the meeting to order.
The following letter was submitted to the Board for con-
sideration:

Sanford, Florida
Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to
rear yard setback requirements in a R -IA, Single Family Dwelling
Zoned District.
Legal description being Lot 1, and N. 2 of Lot 2, Block 11, High-
land Park Subdivision, Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. Property
located at Community Way and Coronado Concourse, Sanford, Florida.
411 The planned use of the property is to permit construction of a
single family dwelling.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Risner was called upon to explain the requested variance.
Mr. Riddle, the property owner, is requesting a variance of
eight (8') feet in the rear yard setback requirement to permit
the construction of a single family dwelling. This variance
being requested due to the unusal shape of the corner lot.
After discussion by the Board members, Mr. Phillips moved
that the eight (8') foot variance in the rear yard be grant-
ed. Seconded by Mr. Julian and duly carried.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
