Risner, Building Official The Chairman called the meeting to order. Chairman Perkins read the following letter requesting a side yard variance. Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to corner lot side yard setback requirements in R -2, One and Two Family Dwelling zoned district. Legal Description being the east 2 of Lots 1 and 2, Block 13, Tier 8, E. R. Traffords Map of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. Property location being 505 W. llth Street, Sanford, Florida. The planned use of the property is a carport attached to a single family dwelling. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed Harold E. Seibert Owner r _ Brd. of Adjustment Page 2 January 27, 1972 After discussion and on motion of Mr. Phillips, second by Mr. Karns and carried it was moved that the 11'6" variance in the side yard be granted. Discussion followed regarding the requirement of a four member quorum for the Board of Adjustment and the Building Official was requested to check the Florida State Statues to see if anything would prohibit the changing of this requirement. The public hearing was continued from December 16, 1972 for a request for a variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to rear yard setback requirements in a C -2, General Commercial Zoned District for First Federal Savings and Loan, Lots 6,7,8, 9 & 10, Block 2, Tier 7, E. R. Traffords Map of Sanford, more generally located on the north side of West First Street, between Elm and Laurel Avenue, Sanford, Florida. 110 After discussion it was moved by Mr. Julian that the requested 8'8" rearyard setback be granted. Seconded by Mr. Phillips and duly carried. Mr. Karns abstained from voting due to conflicting interests. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. L B. L.
