Risner, Building Official Mrs. Mary Smith The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. The first item of business was consideration of a letter submitted by Mrs. Mary Smith as follows: • Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to building site area, rear -front and sideyard setback requirements in R -6, Multiple Family Dwelling zoned district. Legal description Lot 10, Block 12, Tier 11, E. R. Traffords Map, Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. Property location 1013 Railraod Avenue or 8082 West llth Street, Sanford, Florida. The planned use of the property is for a single family residence. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. 1 410 signed Mrs. Mary Smith g Y f r 1 Board Of Adjustment 410 August 9, 1971 Page 2 is Mrs. Smith appeared before the Board to explain her request stating that she and her husband who is now deceased had invested money in building supplies that now could not be used. The Building Official apprised the members of the problem of trying to work with Mr. & Mrs. Smith In the past and brought the Board up to date on the above stated property. He told them that at the present time there was two existing houses on this lot that is 59.5'x 137.4'and now they have started to build the third without a permit or plans between the existing two. He further explained that they had previously built one of the two existing houses without plans or permit and only through accident did he discover that the third house was partially built. After considerable discussion it was moved by Mr. Julian 410 that the variance be denied, seconded by Mr. Karns and carried by unanimous vote. Mrs. Doris Williams appeared before the Board to request a conditional use of a poodle grooming shop at the location of 1915 S. French Ave. After discussion and review of the minutes of August 31, 1970 Mr. Karns moved that a recommendation be made to the Zoning and Planning Commission that a conditional use be allowed provided that the same stipulations be set as listed in the August 31, 1970 minutes, seconded by Mr. Sweeney and duly carried. Mr. Sweeney suggested that the time of the meeting of the Board of Adjustment be changed to 4:30 P.M. instead of the 3:30 P.M. time as it interrupted the whole afternoon's work. The Board was in agreement and in the future the meeting hour will be 4:30 P.M. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. # 11? t , - Secretary hairman L.
