BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
December 12, 1986

The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance
in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 1120 Locust Avenue
Legal Description: Lots 17 & 16, Holden Real Estate Co. Addition
Zoning Classification: MR -1, Multiple - Family Residential Dwelling District
Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25' Rear Yard: 20' Side Yard: 71'
Variance Needed: Front Yard: 17' Rear Yard: -0- Side Yard: -0-
The planned use of the property is to erect a carport addition.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

A permit has been pulled for the carport. When an inspection was called in, it was
noted there was no permit. To be legal, she had to get a variance. The carport
addition is the same distance from the property line as the existing house.
Mr. Philips moved to approve the 17 ft. front yard variance. Mr. Blair seconded.
Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjou led.
