Philips Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins, at 11:35 A.M. The following letter was submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance. • Address: 2524 Poinsetta Ave Legal Description: Lot 24, Blk 3, Palm Terrace, Sec. 6, PB 4, PG 82 Zoning Classification: SR -1, Single - Family Residential Dwelling District Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25 ft. Side Yard: 4 ft. Rear Yard: 4 ft. Variance Needed: Front Yard: -0- Side Yard: 2 ft. Rear Yard: -0- The planned use of the property is for a utility building. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Charles Leist Mrs Leist was present to represent the request. The building has been there for about 41 years. Mr. Winn informed the board that it was brought to the building departments attention that the utility building was built without a permit. When the Leist's came in to get a permit, it was found that they were too close to the side yard by 2 ft. Mr. Winn said the utility building is built according to the code. Mr. White moved to approve the 2 ft. side yard variance for the utility building. Mr. Schaffer seconded. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. B. L.
