Philips Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins. The following letter was submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Address: 150 French Avenue Legal Description: Lots 6 & 7, Blk 3, Tr 9, Trafford's Map of the Town of Sanford. III Zoning Classification: GC -2, General Commercial District Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25 ft. Rear Yard: 15 ft. Side Yard: 15 ft. Variance Requested: Front Yard: 211 ft. Rear Yard: 10 ft. Side Yard: 101 ft. The planned use of the property is to erect a church worship center. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed A. W. McDaniel, Jr. Mr. McDaniel was present to represent the request. After discussion, Mr. White moved to approve the 211 ft. front yard, 10 ft. rear yard, and the 101 ft. side yard variances. Mr. Schaffer seconded. Motion carried. Address:1551 Mellonville Avenue Legal Description: Begin at the point of intersection of the E. line of Lot 10, Blk G, III Map of Buena Vista Estates, according to the plat thereof as recorded in PB 3, PGs 1 & 2 of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, extended, and said vacated ROW; thence extend Wly 240.33 ft. to the intersection of the W. line of said Lot 10, extended. Zoning Classification: SR -1, Single- Family Residential Dwelling District. Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25 ft. Rear Yard: 20 ft. Side Yard: 71 ft. After discussion, Mr. White moved to deny the request for a 50 ft. lot width variance. Mr. Schaffer seconded. Motion carried. Address: 1318 Fulton Street Legal Description: The S. 62 ft. of Lot 6, Blk X, Town of Sanford, PB 1, PG 113 Zoning Classification: RMOI, Multiple Family Residential, Office and Institutional District Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 30 ft. Rear Yard: 20 ft. Side Yard: 20 ft. Variance Requested: Front Yard: -0- Rear Yard: -0- Side Yard: 10 ft. After discussion, Mr. White moved to approve the 10 ft. side yard variance. Mr. Philips seconded. Motion carried.
