BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
April 27, 1984

The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 218 Bradshaw Drive
Legal Description: Lot 16, Blk D, Country Club Manor, Unit III
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25' Rear Yard: 20' Side Yard: 7.5'
Variance Requested: Side Yard: 5.5'
The planned use of the property is an addition to S/F Res.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Cooper was present to represent the request. After discussion, the board
members decided that it would be better to decrease the size of the garage to
18' which would only need a .5' variance. Mr. William Balzer was present to
to speak in opposition. After further discussion, Mr. White moved to approve the
.5' side yard variance. Mr. Philips seconded. Motion carried.

Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 30' Rear Yard: 20' Side Yard: 10'
Variance Requested: Density per acreage.
The planned use of the property is for 3 quadruplexes.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Kraszewski was present to represent the request. The board suggested he should
rezone the property to fit the 12 units, purchase more land or go with 10 units.
Mr. White moved to disapprove the variance request. Mr. Philips seconded. Motion carried.

After the meeting, an additional 6 inches was required to be able to fit
the house on the lot. Mr. Knowles okayed the extra inches on 5- 24 -84.
Attached is the memo that Mr. Knowles okayed.

MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT: 2013 Palmetto Ave. - Side Yard Variance
Cardinal Industries has asked if it will be necessary for George & Deborah
Weigert, owners of 2013 Palmetto Ave. to reapply for another side yard
variance for an additional six (6) inches. The original request was for
1.5 ft. and was granted by the Board of Adjustment on April 27, 1984.
The Notice to the Public does not address the amount of variance and there
was no opposition. Would it be legal to poll the board members by phone
for the additional 6" needed, or does it require another Public Hearing?
