Philips Bob Karns Members Absent: Garnett White Larry Blair Others Present: Gary Winn The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins. The first letter submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Address: 1700 S. Sanford Avenue • Legal Description: All of Blk A, Markham's Park Property, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in PB 1, PG 79 of the Public Records of Seminole County, FL bounded on the E. by Sanford Ave., on the W. by Palmetto Ave. and on the N. and S. by the Atlantic Coast Line Rights -of -Way and also Grantor's vacated Right -of- Way, approximately 50' in width, between Sanford and Palmetto Avenues; said strip of land being bounded on the S. by BLK A, Markham's Park property, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in PB 1, PG 79, Public Records of Seminole County, FL, and on the N. by Lots 2 and 3 and the 14' alley between said lots, Baumel's Plat, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in PB 3, PG 38, said Public Records, Saving and Excepting, However, the N 25' of the E 117' of said strip of land, adjoining and lying S of said Lot 3, Baumel's Plat; the strip of land hereby conveyed containing approximately 0.23 of an acre. I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Address: 1804 Washington Avenue Legal Description: Lot 20, Blk 3, Bel Air Subd. Zoning Classification: SR -1A, Single Family Residential Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 25' Rear Yard: 20' Side Yard: 10' Variance Requested: Front Yard: 14' The planned use of the property is an aluminum carport cover. • Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Alice M. Lytle Mrs. Lytle was present to represent the request. She brought a letter from her neighbor stating they had no objections to her putting up the carport cover. Mr. Karns moved to approve the 14' variance for the aluminum carport cover with the stipulation it will not be enclosed or used for storage. Mr. Philips seconded. Motion carried. Zoning Classification: MR -2, Multiple Family Setback Requirements: Front Yard: 20' Rear Yard: 25' Side Yard: 7 Variance Requested: Side Yard: 5' The planned use of the property is a single- family residence. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Ralph Dunwoody Mr. Dunwoody and Mr. Anthony Frank were present to represent the request. After discussion, Mr. Karns moved to approve the 5' variance with the stipulation if the house is destroyed in anyway, it will have to meet the zoning setback requirements if it is rebuilt.
