Board of Adjustment
July 8, 1983

The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman, B. L. Perkins.
The following request was submitted:
Board of Adjustment
City Hall
Sanford, FL 32771
Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 2927 Orlando Drive, Sanford, FL
Legal description: Lots 32 & 33, less Wly 20' in State Road, Amended Plat
Druid Park, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 7, pages
5 & 6, Public Records of Seminole County, FL.
Zoning Classification: GC -2 , General Commercial District
Setback requirements: Side Yard -15'.
Variance requested: 10'
Would like to build 5' from property line on North side which is on State St.
The planned use of the property is: 8 stores -20'x 80' and 4 offices -20'x 30'.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Robson was present to represent his request. Mr. Winn was present and
said the reason for the request for variance is that technically, it is a
corner lot and the requirement for corner is 15' but he is not actually building
to the corner. There is ample parking for the number of offices and stores
being planned.
• Mr. Blair moved to approve the variance of 10' on the side. Mr. White seconded.
Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourne .
