The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 11:30 A.M. to consider
the following request:

Sanford, FL 32771
Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
variance in the zoning ordinance as follows:
Side yard setback requirements in GC -2 zoned district. A variance of 8 ft.
• on the west side of the property is needed.
Legal description: The South 400 ft. of the old abandoned SCL Railroad R/W
lying North of 25th St., being in Sec. 35, Township 19 South, Range 30 East.
Property location: 2208 W. 25th St.
The planned use of the property is Monument Company.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Glenn McCall was present to represent the request and said there would be
problem with water runoff because his location is lower than Rinker next door
and there is no building on the other side. After discussion, Mr. White moved
to approve the variance. Mr. Karns seconded. Motion carried.

The planned use of the property is duplexes or commercial.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Grier was present to represent the request. Mr. Winn said the reason for
the request is that in order to meet the requirements of RC -1 a variance of
16' to 31' would be needed for commercial use, and 16' to 21' for residential.
At this time Mr. Grier was requesting the variance for either use in order to
best utilize the property. After discussion, Mr. White moved to approve the
request. Mr. Karns seconded. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
