Board of Adjustment
Nov. 13, 1981

The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. to consider the following
requests:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
a variance in the Zoning Ordinance as follows:
Side yard setback requirements in RMOI zoned district. A variance of 3' is
needed.
• Legal description: Lot 1 - 4, 6 & 7, Blk 6, Tr 5, Town of Sanford, PB 1, Pg 63.
Property location 401 A -B -C -D Myrtle Ave. and 400 & 402 Oak Ave.
The planned use of the property is quadruplex for the elderly and handicapped.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

After discussion and reviewing the plan, Mr. White moved to approve the variance.
Mr. Karns seconded. Motion carried.

Rear yard setback requirements in SR -1 zoned district. A variance of 10 ft. is
needed.

The planned use of the property is an addition to the house.

Mr. Smith was present to represent the request.
After reviewing the plans presented showing the proposed addition, Mr. Karns
moved to approve the variance. Mr. White seconded. Motion carried.

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
variance in the Zoning Ordinance as follows:
Front and side yard setback requirements in MR -1 zoned district. A variance of
3.5' is needed on the side yard and 6' on the front yard.
Legal description: Lot 8, Blk 3, Pine Level, PB 6, Pg 30
• Property location: 1505 W. 17th St.
The planned use of the property is a S/F dwelling with a porch.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mrs. Quinn and Derry McGill were present to represent the request. The Board
members were informed that the purpose of the variance was to replace a house
that had been demolished and add a porch.
After discussion Mr. White moved to grant the variance on the side and front with
the stipulation that the owner agreed to maintain all water on the property and
take steps to keep it from draining on the neighbor's property. Mr. Philips
seconded. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
