The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Session in the City
Commission Chambers of the City Hall at 11:30 A.M. on November 19, 1998.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Karl Stairs
Sylvia Smith
Carol Dennison
Members Absent: Ruth Stamm - excused
Others Present: Dan Florian, Acting Building Official
Arlene Rumbley, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 11:35 A.M. by the Chairman Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the
Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 2809 Grove Drive
Legal Description: Lot 5 , Blk G , Woodmere Park, 2nd Replat, , according to the plat thereof, as
recorded in Sanford PB 13 PG 73, of the Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: SR -1A
SideYard Setback Requirement: 7.5 ft
Present Setback: -0-
Variance Needed: 7.5ft
The planned use of the property is to install a carport connected between house and block wall along
property line.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the variance request under conditions:
1. The easements to be vacated before he can put the carport.
• 2. The carport cannot be enclosed at all
3. There will be no adverse drainagee impact on the adjacent lot.
4. Will upsize the gutter to accomdate the additional run -off. The gutter cannot extend
beyond the property. Not encroached on the neighbor's property.
