The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall at
11:30 P.M. on September 10, 1998.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Carol Dennison
Karl Stairs
Member Absent: Sylvia Smith, excused
Others Present: Dan Florian,Acting Building Official
Arlene Rumbley, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 12:20 P.M. by the Chairman
Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 1920 Magnolia Av.
Legal Description: Lot 12 Spencer Heights, PB 3 PG 15 recorded in
Sanford, Seminole County, Florida.
Zoning Classification: SR -1A
Side Yard Setback Requirement: 4.0 ft
Present Setback: .8"
Variance Needed: 3.2 ft
Rear Yard ( Alley Side): 4.0
Present Setback: 2.08'
Variance Needed: 1.92'
The planned use of the property is to replace an existing garage
