The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall at
11:30 A.M. on June 9, 1995.

The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 212 Bradshaw Drive
Legal Description: LOT 10, BLK F, COUNTRY CLUB MANOR UNIT 3, PB 12
PG 76 recorded in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Chain Link Fence in Front yard.
The planned use of the property is to install a chain link fence in
front yard.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 2603 Elm Avenue
Legal Description: Lot 415, Frank L. Woodruffs subd of Land's south
of Sanford, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in PB 3 PG 44
as recorded in the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
Zoning Classification: SR -1
The planned use of the property is to install Chain Link fence in
front yard.
Mr. John Cogburn was present to represent the request. He is the
father of Mickey Cogburn. Mr. Cogburn advised the board that he is
scared that his grand daughter will run into the street and get run
• over. He stated that 75% of the homes in the area have fences and
that the two adjoining properties have fences.
Mr. Sweet made the motion to deny the request. Mr. Sweet
recommended denial because is not consistant with Land Development
Regulation. Ms. Smith seconded.

Mr. Troutman was present to represent the request. Mr. Troutman
advised the board that to keep his kids playing in the yard and for
the safety of his children.
Mr. Winn made a comment to emphasize that there are other fences in
the front yard such as a nice picket fence 4', 5' or 6' the only
one they are disallowing is chain link fences in the front yard.
Mr. Sweet made the motion to deny the request. Mr. Sweet
recommended denial because is not consistant with the Land
Development Regulation. Ms.Smith seconded.
