• The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall at
11:30 A.M. on August 26, 1994.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Carol Dennison
Norval Angle
Sylvia Smith
Member Absent: Karl Stairs, excused
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
Mary Muse, Secretary
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 100 & 101 Pamala Court
• Legal Description: Lots 1 & 28, Pamala Oaks Subd., PB 47 PG 46 of
the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
Zoning Classification: PD, Planned Development
Side Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet street side
Present Setback: 20 feet
Variance Needed: 5 feet
The planned use of the property is to erect a single family
residence on each lot.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Feinberg was present to represent the request. Mr. Feinberg
informed the board that they had given the city an additional 20
ft. utility easement without realizing they needed 25 ft. on the
side yard. Mr. Winn informed the board that there will be a 5 ft.
wall along the side property line.
Mr. Angle made a motion to approve the request to allow a 20 ft.
side yard. Mrs. Dennison seconded.

TRAFFORDS MAP OF SANFORD, AS RECORDED IN PB 1 PG 56 -64 OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL.
Zoning Classification: SR -1, Single Family Residential
Side Yard Setback Requirement: 15 ft. street side
Present Setback: 3 ft.
Variance Needed: 12 ft.
Rear Yard Setback Requirement: 30 ft.
Present Setback: 5.80 ft.
Variance Needed: 24.20 ft.
• The planned use of the property is to erect a garage onto an
existing single family residence.
Signed: P. Kay Bartholomew
Mrs. Bartholomew was present to represent the request. She
submitted a letter to the board stating the reasons why she was
requesting the variance. (Letter attached) The Historical Board
has approved her request for the garage. The garage will be on the
side street, not the front street. It is a one story garage.
Mr. Angle made a motion to approve the request to allow a 3 ft.
side yard setback and a 5.80 ft. rear yard setback. Mrs. Dennison
seconded.
