MINUTES 5- 15 -94
• The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 A.M. on April 22, 1994.
Members Present: Larry Blair
Carol Dennison
Sylvia Smith
Member Absent: Norval Angle - unexcused
Karl Stairs - excused
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
Mary Muse, Secretary
Toni Roberts, Community Block Grant Office
The meeting was called to order at 11:37 A.M. by the Chairman,
Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

• Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 1810 Redding Place
Legal Description: Lot 3, Reddings Subd, as recorded in PB 8 PG
20 of the Public Records of Seminole County.
Zoning Classification: MR -2
Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet
Present Setback: 20 feet
Variance Needed: 5 feet
Rear Yard Setback Requirement: 20 feet
Present Setback: 17.6 feet
Variance Needed: 2.6 feet
The planned use of the property is to erect a single family
residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Niedert was present to represent the request. There was a
house previously there which was demolished. Ms. Seymour has 4
or 5 sons with the oldest being 7 years old and needs a four
bedroom house. In order to build a house with the needed square

footage, there needs to be variances for the front and rear yard
due to the size of new home.
Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the variance request. Mrs.
Dennison seconded.
