• MINUTES
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 A.M. on September 24, 1993
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Karl Stairs
Sylvia Smith
Carol Dennison
Member Absent: Norval Angle - excused
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

• Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 1715 W. 15th Street
Legal Description: Lot 5 Assessors Map of Lots 44 & 45, Blk A,
M. M. Smith's Subd., DB 107, PG 487, Sanford, Seminole County,
Florida.
Zoning Classification: MR -2
Lot Width Requirement: 50 feet
Present Width: 44 feet
Variance Needed: 6 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a single family
residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Geuka was present to represent the request. The structure
will meet all of the required setbacks but the lot width was not
the required width.
Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the 6 ft. lot width variance
request. Mr. Stairs seconded.

Zoning Classification: SR -1
Side /Front Yard Requirement: 25 feet
• Present Setback: 17 feet
Variance Needed: 8 feet
The planned use of the property is to erect an addition onto a
existing single- family residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. & Mrs. Wasano were present to represent the request. They
would like to put a patio onto the house which would line up with
the existing residence.
Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the 8 ft. variance request.
