Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman Karl Stairs Sylvia Smith Norval Angle Joe Hartwig Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official Mary Muse, Secretary The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by Larry Blair. The following letter was submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: • I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Address: 520 Valencia Street Legal Description: Lots 18 & 19 & W 1/2 of Lot 20, Blk 8, San Lanta, PB 3 PG 80 of the public records of Seminole County, FL. Zoning Classification: SR -1 Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet Present Setback: 17 feet Variance Needed: 8 feet The planned use of the property is to erect an addition onto an existing residence. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Louis Campagna Mr. Campagna was present to represent the request. Mr. Angle made a motion to approve the 8 ft. front yard variance request because the addition will be in line with the existing house. Mr. Stairs seconded. Address: 417 W. 12th Street Legal Description: Lots 6 & 7, Blk 14, Tr 7, E. R. Traffords Map of the Town of Sanford, as recorded in PB 1 PGs 56 -64, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. Zoning Classification: GC -2 Maximum Building Area: 35% Present Area: 37% Variance Needed: 2% The planned use of the property is to erect a storage building. Zoning Classification: SR -1 Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet Present Setback: 18 feet Variance Needed: 7 feet The planned use of the property is to erect an aluminum carport addition.
