City The Board of Adjustment of the C1 y of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:37 A.M. on May 14, 1993.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Karl Stairs
Sylvia Smith
Member Absent: Joe Hartwig
Norval Angle
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
Mary Muse, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 11:37 A.M. by Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
• I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 2010 Magnolia Avenue
Legal Description: Lots 9 & 10 Evans Terrace, as recorded in PB
3 PG 29 Public Records of Seminole County, FL.
Zoning Classification: SR -1A
Side Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet
Present Setback: 8 feet
Variance Needed: 17 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a detached
garage /storage building.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Ms. Harper was present to represent the request. She informed
the board that the proposed location would be the best because
building could be built without removing any trees and feels that
aesthetically it would better than having boats and vehicles
outside in the open. The design would be the same as the
existing house.
Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the 17 ft. side yard variance
• because it is an improvement and detrimental. Mr. Stairs
seconded.
