The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 A.M. on January 8, 1993.
Members Present: Karl Stairs, Acting Chairman
Norval Angle
Sylvia Smith
Members Absent: Larry Blair
Joe Hartwig
Others Present: Linda Gentry, Building Inspector
The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by Karl Stairs,
Acting Chairman.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 100 Hays Drive
Legal Description: Lot 6 BLK B Country Club Manor Unit 1 PB 11
PG 35
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet
Present Setback: 18 feet
Variance Needed: 7 feet
The planned use of the property is to extend front of existing
garage.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mrs. Padgett was present to represent the request. The
construction of the extension of the garage has already begun.

of construction the garage was at.

After discussion, Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the request
with the stipulation that the garage will never be used as a
living area. Mr. Angle seconded.
