• MINUTES
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Special Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:39 A.M. on December 18, 1992.
Members Present: Larry Blair
Karl Stairs
Joe Hartwig
Sylvia Smith
Member Absent: Norval Angle
Others Present: Bettie Sonnenberg, Land Development Coordinator
Mary Muse, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 11:39 A.M. by Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 118 Laurel Drive
Legal Description: Lot 11 BLK C South Pinecrest PB 10 PG 10
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Side Yard Setback Requirement: 7.5 feet
Present Setback: 5.5 feet
Variance Needed: 2 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct an addition onto
an existing single- family residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Maliczowski and his contractor, Mr. Boesch, were present to
represent the request. Mr. Boesch stated they were not aware
until they dug the footers for the permitted addition that the
existing house was set a slight angle. Therefore, the rear
• corner does not meet the required side yard setback. The actual
survey of the house did not indicate that the house was set at an
angle.

After discussion, Mr. Stairs made a motion to approve the
request. Mr. Hartwig seconded.
