MINUTES
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 A.M. on November 13, 1992.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairman
Karl Stairs
Norval Angle
Joe Hartwig
Member Absent: Sylvia Smith
Others Present: Bettie Sonnenberg, Land Development Coordinator
Carla Grant, Community Development Officer Sec.
Mary Muse, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

• Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 801 Willow Avenue
Legal Description: Lot 6, Blk 10, Tr G, E. R. Traffords Map of
Sanford, as recorded in PE 1 PG 115 of the Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida.
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet
Present Setback: 16 feet
Variance Needed: 9 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a carport.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Forrest, owner. and Carla Grant, CDBG secretary, were present
to represent the request. Mrs. Sonnenberg stated that there is a
wide right -of -way on Willow and does not see any problem with the
carport addition. The carport would be in line with the existing
homes in the area.
• .Kr. Stairs made a motion to approve the 9 ft. front yard variance
request. Mr. Angle seconded.
