The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, net In
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 A.M. on June 12, 1992.
Members Present: Larry Blair
Sylvia Smith

The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M. by the Chairman,
Larry Blair.
The following letter was submitted. for consideration:

I any submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 1107 E. 9th Street
Legal Description: E. 1/2 of Lot 6, Bik 11, Tr G, as recorded. in
PB 1, PG 115, Sanford, Seminole County.
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Front Yard Setback Requirement: 25 feet
Present Setback: 10 feet
Variance Needed: 15 feet
Rear Yard Setback Requirement: 20 feet
Present Setback: 15 feet
Variance Needed: 5 feet.
Lot. Size Requirement: 6,000 sq, ft.

• Mr. Barnes was present to represent the request. There previously
was a house on this lot. The house will face E. 9th Street. The
lot was subdivided in half. Mr. Winn stated that the closest
existing house has a 20 ft. front yard setback.

After discussion, Mr. Angle made a motion to approve the request
due to a house previously being there.

Committee unanimously recommends the approval of the request.
After discussion, Ms. Smith niade_ a motion to approve the request
based on the recommendation of the Plans Review Committee. Ms.
Angle seconded.

Legal Description: Lot 2 & the N. 4' of Lot 3, E.R. Traffords Hap
of Sanford, PB 56, PGs 55 -54, Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Side Yard Requirement: 7.5 feet
Present Side Yard Setback: 4 feet
Variance Needed: 3.5 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a single family
residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Bart Pilcher was present to represent the request for Mrs.
Peurifoy. There is an existing house on the lot and would only
have 4 feet on the side yard if divided from the vacant lot next
door. With this variance, the vacant lot would meet all the
setback requirements.
After discussion, Ms. Smith made a motion to approve the request
• with the condition the there he a minimum. of 15 feet between the
residences. Mr. Angle seconded.
