The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in

Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11 :30 a.m. on July 26, 1991.

The meeting was called to order at 11:35 a.m.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 208 Arcadia Avenue
Legal Description: Lot 14, Blk 2, Highland Park, according to
the plat thereof as recorded in PB 4 PG 28 of the Public Records
of Seminole Couny, Florida.
Zoning Classification: SR -1A
Side Yard Requirements: 10 feet
Present Setbacks: 8 feet
Variance Needed: 2 feet
Rear Yard Requirements: 20 feet
Present Setback: 14 feet
Variance Needed: 6 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a single family
residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. David Stump, Stenstrcm - Stump Construction was present to
represent the request. The reason for the variance is to save a
100 year old oak tree. Ms. McMinn's daughter owns the property
adjacent to her.

Required Front Yard Requirements: 25 feet
Present Setback: 10 feet
Variance Needed: 15 feet
Required Rear Yard Requirements: 20 feet
Present Setback: 12 feet
Variance Needed: 8 feet
Required Side Yard Requirements: 7.5 feet
Present Setback: 5.88 feet
Variance Needed: 1.62 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a single family

Mr. John Bernal, Jim Walter Homes, was present to represent the
request. There was previously a house on the property that was
demolished due to it being condemned. The adjacent homes are
built close to the road because the lots are small in size. This
house would be constructed. to align with the other houses on the
