• The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 a.m. on June 28, 1991.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Acting Chairman
Norval Angle
John McClanahan
Karl Stairs
Members Absent: W.M. Philips, Chairman
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
Linda Gentry, Secretary
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Case *91 -011
Address: Sw Corner Jewett Lane & Kennel Road
Legal Description: Lot 146 PB 1 PG 31 Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: RI -1
Parking Space Requirements: 124 spaces
Present Spaces Provided: 65
Variance Needed: 59 spaces
The planned use of the property is to construct office /wholesale
storage of medical supplies /small truck fabrication (emergency
vehicles).
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Scott Barnes was present and stated that the property will be
used for fabrication and storage only with a maximum of 50
employees. It is not a retail business and not open to the
public. The vehicles will be stored in the impound area and not
in the parking lot. The facility is 2500 feet from the church
and there will be an asphalt road to the facility from W. 46.
John McClanahan made a motion to approve the request. Karl
Stairs seconded.

Zoning Classification: MI -2
Sign Square Footage Requirements: 16 sq. feet
Present Square Footage: 87.5 sq. feet
Variance Requested: 71.50 sq. feet
• Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.
Signed: Silver Lakes Industrial Park
Cindy Cleary was present and stated that there would be only one
sign on the property and it would be at the entrance. Since Lake
Mary Blvd. allows 100 sq. feet and Silver Lake Drive may
eventually become Lake Mary Blvd. they were requesting the
increase in signage so that this sign would be within the same
size as the existing signs in the area.
Larry Blair made a motion to approve the request. Karl Stairs
seconded.
