• The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 a.m. on April 12, 1991.
Members Present: W.M. Philips
Norval Angle
Karl Stairs
Members Absent: Larry Blair
John McClanahan
Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official
Linda Gentry, Secretary
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 2525 Park Drive
Legal Description: Lots 1, 2 & 3 Blk 2 Dreamwold PB 4 PG 30
Zoning Classification: GC -2
Side Yard Requirements: 35 feet
Present Setbacks: 30 feet
Variance Requested: 5 feet
Rear Yard Requirements: 35 feet
Present Sidebacks: 30 feet
Variance Requested: 5 feet
Parking Requirements: 5 spaces
Parking Requested: 2 spaces
Variance Needed: 3 spaces
The planned use of the property is to construct mini - storage
warehouse.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Pilcher was present. He stated that he needed the variance
to move the structure closer to the rear of the property. The
front will be landscaped and have a 6' wood fence for a buffer.
• There will be security lighting but it will be shielded from the
residences at the rear of the property. Largest unit will be
10 X 20 and it will be an unmanned facility. He wants the

parking to be reduced because of the fact that the tenants will
be allowed to park in front of their units to load and unload
their belondings.
Norval Angle made a motion to approve the request. Karl Stairs
seconded.
