Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Case 490 -37
Address: 1120 W. 14th Street
• Zoning Classification: MR2 (Multiple Family)
Side Yard Requirements: 7.5'
Present Setbacks: 5' & 6'
Variance Needed: 2.5' & 1.5'
Front Yard Requirements: 25'
Present Setbacks: 11 . 5'
Variance needed: 13.5'
Rear Yard R ecuiremen" s : 0'
Present Setbacks: 8 . 5 '
Tariance Needed: 11.5'
The planned use of the property is to construct a . i iy i,-' family
dwelling.

Sheila Foster & John Sullivan Jim Walter Homes, were present to
represent the request..
Mr. Sullivan advised that there is an existing dweling on the
property that will be demolished and the new home will be further
from the property lines than the existing house.
• Mr. Winn advised that he was in favor of the new construction due

to the fact that it would probably be safer for the owners and
the owner had lived in the existing house for approximately 50
years. He also stated that it may encourage the surrounding
property owners to make changes in the area.
Norval Angle made a motion to approve the request. Larry Blair
seconded.
