Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Case #90 -36
• Address: 1906 Patrick Place
Legal Description: Lot 1 Blk 1 San Sem Knolls First Add. PE 12
PG 65 as recorded in Sanford., Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Side Yard Requirements: 25 feet
Present Setbacks: 9.6 feet
Variance Needed: 15.6 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct an open double
carport.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Kathleen Davis was present to represent the request. She stated
that she wanted to build the carport so that she could part both
her cars there and be able to put up a gate to protect them. She
stated that it would be built from wood and have a shingle roof
so it would look like the rest of the house.
Larry Blair made a motion to allow her to construct the carport
but to only allow it to be 12' wide and 24' in length instead of
24' wide and 12' in length. Norval Angle seconded the motion
• with the stipulation that the carport could never be enclosed.
