Members Present: W.M. Philips, Chairman Steve Richards Norval Angle Members Absent: Larry Blair John McClannahan Others Present: Gary Winn, Building Official Linda Gentry, Secretary The following letter was submitted for consideration: . Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Case #90 -29 • Address: 2544 Park Avenue Zoning Classification: GC -2 Parking Space Requirements: 60 spaces Present Parking Spaces: 43 Parking Spaces Requested: 36 Variance Needed: 17 spaces The planned use of the property is to open a restaurant and lounge. • Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Bank of Central Florida Robert Rosen & Allison Mecca from Broad & Cassel and. Guy Nuss from Bank of Central Florida were present as representatives. Mr. Rosen advised the Board that on August 27, 1990, the City Commission granted the Bank of Central Florida the use of the property located within the right -of -way on Elm Avenue adjacent to the above mentioned property for an additional seven (7) parking spaces. Therefore, they were requesting the parking spaces be reduced to 36 spaces to reflect the loss of the use of the parking spaces within the right -of -way for Elm Avenue. • Steve Richards made a motion to approve the request. Case #90 -30 Address: 523 Plumosa Drive Zoning Classification: SP -1A Rear Yard Requirements: 8 feet Present Setbacks: 4 feet. Variance Needed: 4 feet • Side Yard Requirements: 8 feet Present Setbacks: 4 feet Variance Needed: 4 feet The planned use of the property is to construct a garage with living quarters upstairs. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Patricia Martin & Lyman Blanchard Kenneth Sumal was present to represent the request. Mr. Winn explained to the Board that the requirements were to have 1' for each foot over 15' of height. Mr. Sumal advised the Board that there are no buildings in the immediate area and that the owners have received a conditional use from Planning & Zoning.
