The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Case *90 -18
III Address: 104 Sugar Maple Court
Legal Description: Lot 59, Hidden Lake Phase III
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Side Yard Requirements: 7.5 feet
Present Setbacks: 2.25 feet
Variance Needed: 5.25 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct an aluminum
carport.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

John David was present to represent the request.
He stated that he had obtained a driveway permit and thought that
it also included the carport.
Mr. Winn advised that the Building Division had not received any
complaints in reference to the carport but that it was discovered
by one of the inspectors.

in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Case #90 -19
Address: 163 Bethune Circle
Legal Description: Lot 93, Academy Manor
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Front Yard Requirements: 25 feet
Present Setbacks: 16 feet
Variance Needed: 9 feet
The planned use of this property is to construct a 18 X 16
carport.
• Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Vernon Dillon was present to represent the request.
He advised that the carport was constructed by Awnings by United
approximately two (2) years ago and he was under the impression
that they had obtained a permit to do the work.
Mr. Winn stated that there had been no complaints and that the
carport was discovered by one of the inspectors. That the plot
plan showed a 25' setback and that no inspections had been made
on the carport.
Steve Richards made a motion to approve the request with the
stipulation that the carport woi3rd could never be enclosed.

in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.

Address: 101 E. 25th Street
Legal Description: All of Block 3, Spurling Heights
Zoning Classification: GC -2
Sign Sqaure Footage Requirements: 50 square feet
Variance Requested: 13 square feet
The planned use of this property is to increase the face of an
existing groud sign.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

• Kenneth Soday was present to represent the variance request. He
stated to the board that he was a representative for the sign
company who was going to do the work.
He advised that he had contacted Seminole County and was advised
that the property was in their jurisdiction. The sign was then
constructed according to the county's sign ordinance. He then
discovered that the property was really in the city limits.
Instead of constructing a new sign, he was requesting an increase
of 13 square feet.
Norval Angle made a motion to approve to request. Steve Richards
seconded.
