Members Present: Larry Blair. Acting Chairman Steve Richards Norval Angle John McClanahan Members Absent: W.M. Philips, Chairman Others Present: Gary Winn The following letter was submitted for consideration: Foard of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Case 490 -15 Address: 3803 Orlando Drive Zoning Classification: GC -2 Side Yard Requirements (Lake Mary Blvd.): 35 feet Present. Setbacks (Lake Mary Blvd.): 24 feet Variance Needed (Lake Mary Blvd.): 7 feet Side Yard Requirements (Orlando Drive): 35 feet Present Setbacks (Orlando Drive): 20 feet Variance Needed (Orlando Drive): 17 feet The planned use of the property is to construct a canopy over pump station. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. S.icrned: Mobil Oil Corporation A representative of Mobil Oil Corporation was present to represent the request. He stated that they needed. a total of 24' variance. He had r ec.uested 11' on the Lake Mary Blvd. side and were now requesting 7' and had requested 15' on the south side and wanted to have 17' being a plus difference of 2'. Mr. Winn stated that he had not objection. • Norval Angle made a motion to approve the request as long as the City Attorney had no objections to the change. Steve Richards seconded.. Case 90-16 Address: 2505 Laurel Avenue Legal Description: Lot 3, Elk 5 Dreamwoid PE 4 PG 30 as recorded in Sanford, Seminole County. Florida Zoning Classification: GC • Side Yard. Requirements: 10 feet Present Setbacks: 2 feet Variance Needed: 8 feet The planned use of this property is to construct to an existing single family dwelling. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Guy W. McFadden Mr. McFadden was present to represent the request. He advised that the slab had already beep poured and he wanted to construct a wood carport. Steve Richards made a motion to approve the request with the stipulation that the carport would have to have a gutter and that it could never be enclosed. John McClanahan seconded. Norval Angle made a motion to deny the request because he felt it would be too close to the street and out of alignment with the other houses on the street. Steve Richards seconded.
