The meeting was called to order at 11:35 a.m.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 542 Plumosa Drive
Legal Description: Lot 24, Less the W. 5' thereof and the W.
17.5' of Lot 25, Blk 6, San Lanta PB 3 Pg 80
Zoning Classification: SR -1A
Side Yard Requirements: 10 feet
Present Setbacks: 6.25 feet
Variance Needed: 3.75 feet
Lot Width Needed: 2.5 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a single family
residence.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Sumal was present to represent the request.
He advised that he is planning to build a 1900 sq. ft. house on
the lot but needs a variance of 3.75 feet on each side and 2.5
feet of lot width.

The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: S.E. Corner of Cedar Avenue & 5th Street
Zoning Classification: GC -2
Requested Variance: Delete buffer wall requirement & replace
with a 6' chain link fence

Joe Brooks was present to represent the request. He stated that
he wanted to erect chain link fencing instead of a wall because
part of the property was screened from view by a wooded area.
The property is used for outdoor storage and manufacturing.
Norval Angle made a motion to allow the chainlink fencing (with
barbed wire at the top) on the west and north sides of the
property and the buffer wall on the east and south sides. Joe
Schaffer seconded.

Legal Description: Parcel 22, Central Park Place
Zoning Classification: RI -1
Variance Requested: Encroachment on curb cut setback from
intersection.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Rex Holman & Rick Houston were present to represent the request.
They stated that part of Upsala Road is scheduled to be abandoned
when the Expressway goes through the area. The property will
• have one (1) emergency use exit and one (1) for public use. The
building could accomodate 3 -6 vehicles with adequate room in the
rear for vehicle maintenance. The request was for a 54' variance
on the curb cut.
In the future there would be signal light control.

seconded.
