Members Present: Larry Blair Joe Schaffer Norval Angle Steve Richards Members Absent: W.M. Philips Others Present: Gary Winn The meeting was called to order at 11:45 a.m. by the Larry Blair. The following letter was submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance in reference to • Side Yard requirements. Address: 1303 Sanford Avenue Legal Description: Celery Avenue Addition - Lots 5 & 7 Blk A PB 1 PG 125 Zoning Classification: GC -2 Setback Requirements: 15 feet Present Setback: 2 feet Variance Needed: 13 feet The planned use of the property is to erect a lighted ground sign. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Marshall Waddle Marshall Waddle was present to represent the request. He stated that he wanted to replace a sign that he had taken down at the city's request. He also advised that the sign would be placed 10 feet from the road. Mr. Winn advised that he had no problem with the replacement of the sign nor did Planning & Zoning. • Mr. Angle made a motion to approve the variance for the ground sign. Mr. Schaffer seconded.
