Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 a.m. on February 10, 1989.
Members Present:

W.M. Philips
Joe Schaffer (absentee vote)
Members Absent: Lary Blair
Others Present: Gary Winn
The meeting was called to order at 11:40 a.m.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Sanford, FL 32771
Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
• Address: 2635 Laurel Avenue
Legal Description: Leg Lot 19 Pinecrest Heights Replat
PB 9 PG 77
Zoning Classification: SR -1
Front Yard Requirements: 7.5 feet
Present Setbacks: 3.5 feet
Variance Needed: 4 feet
The planned use of the property is to construct a carport.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.
Signed: William W. Swindle
Mr. Swindle was present to represent the request.
He submitted a letter from his neighbor from 2633 Laurel Avenue
stating he had no objections to the carport. Mr. Swindle advised
that he does have a privacy fence on the side of the property
where he wanted to put the carport.
Mr. Schaffer had stated over the telephone that he had no
objections to the carport.
Mr. White made a motion to approve the variance with the
• stipulation that the carport was never to be enclosed. Mr.
Philips seconded.
