1. Review the March 29, 2005, Run-Off Election returns as submitted by the Canvassing Board in (Canvassing Board)
Resolution No. 05-02~ and adopt Resolution No. 1996 to accept and certifY the results ofthe March 29,2005, Run-
Off Election and declare the winners.
2.
Authorize payment to the poll workers of the March 29th Election. ($175.00 to Clerks, $140.00 to Inspectors and
Election Assistants, $110.00 to Deputies, and $25.00 to Alternates.)
3. Establish the meeting time for the Special Meeting on April 5, 2005, when the new City Commission will take office.
4. Other business.

The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Meeting on Wednesday, March 30,2005,
at 4:00 P.M., in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present:
Mayor Brady Lessard
Vice Mayor Dr. Velma Williams
Commissioner Art Woodruff
Commissioner Randy Jones
Commissioner Kevin Hipes
City Manager Al Grieshaber Jr.
City Clerk Janet R. Dougherty

Absent:
City Attorney William L. Colbert
Mayor Lessard called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.
]
1. Review the March 29,2005. Run-Off Election returns as submitted by the Canvassing Board in (Canvassing Board)
Resolution No. 05-02; and adopt Resolution No. 1996 to accept and certify the results of the March 29,2005, Run-Off
Election and declare the winners.
The City Commission reviewed the March 29,2005, Run-Off Election returns as submitted by the Canvassing
Board in (Canvassing Board) Resolution No. 05-02.
Commissioner Hipes moved to adopt Resolution No. 1996. Seconded by Vice Mayor Dr. Williams and carried
by vote of the Commission as follows:

Commissioner Jones moved to authorize payment to the poll workers of the March 29th Election as
recommended. Seconded by Vice Mayor Dr. Williams and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:

3. Establish the meeting time for the Special Meeting on AprilS, 2005, when the new City Commission will take office.
The City Commission concurred to meet at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, AprilS, 2005, to act upon old business and
for Mayor Kuhn, Commissioner-elect Williams and Commissioner-elect Woodruff to take their Oaths of Office.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:05 P.M.
