Cemetery Advisory Committee
Meeting of
February 7, 1990
3:30 P.M.
Sanford City Hall - Room #255
PRESENT: Bill Welborn, Chairman
Bette Gramkow
James Jernigan
ALSO PRESENT: Linda Tucker
Meeting called to order by Chairman Bill Welborn.
Mr. Jernigan gave the invocation.
Linda Tucker called roll.
Minutes of meeting of December 14, 1989 were read. Jim Jernigan
moved to accept minutes. Seconded by Bette Gramkow and carried
by all favor vote.
Old Business:
Mr. Jernigan updated the Committee on the cemetery entrance
construction. We are presently waiting for light fixtures to be
installed on the pillars. This will complete the construction
work.
New Business:
Mr. Jernigan updated the committee on the effluent irrigation
system. Parks staff is cutting all individual water lines so
irrigation lines can be run. After lines are installed the City
must get approval from DER before the effluent system can be
turned on.
Once the effluent system is working the front area of the
cemetery will be landscaped with crepe myrtle trees, azaleas and
holly.
There being no further business meeting was adjourned at 4:15
p.m.
