DEDICATION OF CEMETERY ENTRANCE WAYS
The dedication of the cemetery entrance ways was held in
lieu of the quarterly meeting of the Cemetery Advisory Committee.
The dedication was held at the cemetery on 1 -25 -91 at 3:30
p.m.
Mr. Jim Jernigan gave the pledge to the flag, invocation and
introduced the City Commission and special guests.
Mr. Chase Lasbury spoke for the Chase family.
Mayor Bettye D. Smith responded to the dedication.
Attendance was good considering this day was very cold and
blistering.
The program adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
