Meeting called to order Chairperson Bette Gramkow.

Roll call taken.
Minutes of April 22, 1992 were approved with no changes.
OLD BUSINESS•
The refurbishing of Babyland was discussed by Howard Jeffries. He
stated that the City would like to put new markers on the baby
graves, however no funds are available at the time.
Mike Kirby stated that all documents on the Pace Jackson Cemetery
have been turned over to the City Attorney. He will conduct a title
search to determine who owns what lots, etc. City is still getting
reports on vandalism. Rev. Rucker presented proof of ownership on
the property owned by First Shiloh Church. He indicated that he
would like the Community to work together to clean this area up.
Howard Jeffries updated the Committee on the new cemetery contract.
Bon Terre Group, Inc. was awarded the new three year contract.
Howard Jeffries stated that the City is now selling cremation
spaces. A certain area has been set aside for cremation spaces
which sell for $150.00 per space.
Bill Welborn expressed concern about the unsafe westerly entrance
into the cemetery. Howard will check with Engineering Dept. to see
if modification can be made.
No further business meeting was adjourned at 4 :15 p.m.
