Meeting of

Meeting was called to order by Bette Gramkow.
Invocation was given by Howard Jeffries.
Minutes of meeting of July 26, 1995 were read
OLD BUSINESS:
Committee 1 -17 -96
and approved.
Howard Jeffries reported that the Babyland markers were installed
and the baby spaces were cleaned up. It was suggested that the
City approach the local Garden Clubs to ask if they would like
to take on the project of installing sod and plants at Babyland.
Howard Jeffries reported that the City Commission approved the
opening /closing of graves to be done by Quality Vault. Rates are
$300.00 Monday thru Saturday and $350.00 Sunday & Holidays.
Howard reported that the annual cemetery contract was awarded to
The Bon Terre Group, Inc. in the amount $40,355.88. His charge is
less than last year due to the City providing a dump area and
also paying the water bill.
Linda reported that the City had requested that the Committee set
termination procedures for non - attendant members. The Committee
voted on the following procedures:
If member misses (2) two meetings in the calendar year, the
member is called /written to see if there is a problem or if
they wish to continue serving on the Committee. A member who
is absent from (3) three meetings within a calendar year, is
sent written notification that his /her membership is
terminated due to missing three meetings.
No further business meeting was adjourned at 4:05 p.m. Next
cemetery committee meeting is scheduled for April 17, 1996.
