• The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Session in the City
Commission Chambers of the City Hall at 11:30 A.M. on January 27, 2000.
Members Present: Sylvia Smith - Co- Chairman
Karl Stairs
Barbara Knowles
Members Absent: Ruth Stamm - excused
Larry Blair - Chairman - excused
Others Present: Dan Florian, Acting Building Official
Arlene Rumbley, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 11:35 A.M. by the Co- Chairman Sylvia Smith
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

• Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the
Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 126 Placid Woods Ct.
Legal Description: Lot 11 , Placid Woods Phase III , according to the plat thereof, as recorded in
Sanford PB 56 PGS 65 -66, of the Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: MR -3
Rear Yard Setback Requirement: 15'
Present Setback: 12'
Variance Needed: 3'
The planned use of the property is to install a Screen Porch in the rear yard.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

variance request. Ms. Knowles seconded the motion.

• The Secretary of the Board presented to the Board that since all the Board members were not present
we should have the election on the 10th of February.
Ms. Smith presented the ideA to the other board members and asked for a motion. Mr. Stairs
made a motion to approve that the election will be placed on the 10th of February 2000. Ms.
Knowles seconded.
