M. on February 22, 2001. Members Present: Sylvia Smith, Acting Chairperson Karl Stairs Ruth Stamm Barbara Knowles Members Absent: Larry Blair- excused Others Present: Joy Deen, Deputy Building Official Mary Muse, Secretary Chairperson Sylvia Smith called the meeting to order at 11:30 A.M. The following letter was submitted for consideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall • Sanford, FL 32771 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance. Address: 1323 & 1325 Oleander Avenue Legal Description: Lot 65 FLA LAND + COLONIZATION COS ADD TO SOUTH SANFORD, as recorded in PB 1 PG 73, Public Records of the Seminole County, Florida Zoning Classification: MR -2 Variance Needed: 2.5 -ft. side yard; 25 -ft. parcel width at building line, 3.6% maximum building area; 500 -sq. ft. lot size; 15 -ft. front yard variance on Oleander Avenue; 5 -ft. front yard on 13`h Place, 5 -ft. front yard on 14th Street. The planned use of the property is to construct a duplex. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. PAGE 2 were: recommend approval due to there being two units currently existing on the property and the removal of the old units and replacement with new construction would greatly improve the premises. Ms. Stamm made a motion approve the requested variance. Ms. Knowles seconded. Smith - aye Stairs - aye Stamm - aye Knowles - aye Motion carried.
