The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Session in the City
Commission Chambers of the City Hall at 11:45 A.M. on April 12, 2001.
Members Present: Larry Blair, Chairperson
Sylvia Smith
Ruth Stamm
Members Absent: Karl Stairs - excused
Others Present: Dan Florian, Building Official
Jo -Ann Johnson, Permit Technician
The meeting was called to order at 11:45 A.M.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

• Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a variance in the
Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 167 Golfside Circle
Legal Description: Lot 38, Mayfair Club, Phase I, as recorded in PB 53 PGs 7 & 8, Public Records
of the Seminole County, Florida
Zoning Classification: PD
Variance Needed: 9 -ft. rear yard.
The planned use of the property is to construct a sunroom on an existing slab.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Douglas Brown was present to represent the variance request. Mr. Brown stated that they would
like to construct an enclosure with vinyl windows onto the existing slab. There are several homes
in the area that currently has screen rooms.
