BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
December 12, 2002
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Regular Session in the
City Commission Chambers of the City Hall at 11:30, AM on December 12, 2002.
Members Present: Andrew Valente
Karl Stairs
Ruth Stamm
Sylvia Smith, Vice - Chairperson
Members Excused: Larry Blair, Excused
Others Present: Dan Florian, Bldg. Official
Jo -Ann Johnson, Admin. Secretary
Nick Balevich, Planner
Flossie DeGrave, Permit Technician
The Vice - Chairperson Sylvia Smith called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting a
conditional use for non - conforming structure in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 122 Mayfair Circle
Legal Description: Lot 12 Mayfair Villas PB 22 PGS 9 & 10
Zoning Classification: MR -2
Front, side and rear yard requirements for existing non - conforming residential structure.
Front -side yard setback for addition to residential structure.
The request for this conditional use to approve the setbacks and allow a screen room
addition to the dwelling. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

The owner, Bertha E Zulauf, and the agent Michaela Starke were at hand to represent this
request.
Mr. Florian gave a brief synopsis of the request for any clarification needed by the board.
Ms. Stamm noted the required setbacks dimensions indicated by the Zoning Dept. Ms.
Stamm made a motion to approve a 14' front yard, 3.9' side yard, 3' rear yard and a
15.75' front -side yard setback. Mr. Valente seconded. Motion carried 4 -0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourne at 11:35 by-Sylvia Smith.
