BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
May 13, 2004
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Regular Session in the City
Commission Chambers of the City Hall at 11:30 a.m. on May 13, 2004

The Chairman, Larry Blair called the meeting to order at 11:40 A.M.
Item 2 — Case #04 -1614, 724 Meadow Street, owner, Rosary Boyle, is requesting a
variance to the front side yard setback for a screen pool enclosure and pool deck.
The site plan submitted is showing a 9.5 foot setback from the to the property
line.
Ms. Smith made the motion to approve in accordance with the submitted site plan.
Ms. Stamm seconded the motion.
Motion carried 2 -1 (Blair).
Item 1— Case #04 -1452, 346 Live Oak Boulevard, owner, James McFadzen is requesting a
variance to allow a previously constructed boat port to remain in his side yard.
This is a variance to schedule F of the Land Development Regulations, which
does not allow an accessory structure in a side yard.
Ms. Smith made the motion to deny the application in accordance with the City
Land Development Regulations, stating the applicant failed to prove hardship
which are outlined in Article III, Section 3.10 item D of the Land Development
Regulations. Ms. Stamm seconded the motion.
Motion carried 3 -0.
