Mr. Garrett called the meeting to order at 6 PM.
Minutes
Mr. Green moved to approve the Minutes of the October 2, 2008 Regular Meeting. Mr. Robert seconded.
Motion carried 6-0 (Mr. Kutz not present at this time).
Proof of Publication
Mr. Robert moved to accept the proof of publications. Mr. Y osefian seconded. Motion carried 6-0 (Mr. Kutz not
present at this time).
Public Hearings
Hold a Public Hearing to consider a request for a Conditional Use to establish a house of worship at 2381
Narcissus Avenue for Wat Navaram Buddhist Temple in an AG, Agriculture zoning district. Wat Navaram
Buddhist Temple, Inc., property owner; Alex Chitarath-Wat Navaram Buddhist Temple, Inc., representative~
Present to speak were Virgil Hurley and Kathy Watson. They were in favor of the request, but concerned about
traffic issues.
Mr. Robert moved to approve the request per staffs recommendation. Mr~ Loader seconded. Motion carried 6-0
(Mr. Kutz not present at this time).

Shower Down of Blessings Deliverance Center Church, property owner; Molly Hudson, representative for Tim
Hudson-TDH Construction, Inc. Robert Herman was present to state he was in favor of the request and wanted
the board to know about drug activity in the area~
Mr. Robertson amended staff recommendation item number three to allow a curbcut on Elm Avenue if it was
approved by the City Engineer.

Mr. Green moved to approve the request per staffs recommendation including the amended item number three
to allow a curbcut if approved by the City Engineer. Mr. Yolk seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0.

Mr. Yosefian moved to recommend approval to the City Commission per staff's recommendation. Mr. Green
seconded. Motion carried 6...1 (Mr. Kutz against, all others in favor).
After the motion was stated, Walwyn Bradford came forward to ask some general questions about the proposed
project since he lives behind the property on Palmetto Avenue.
