MINUTES Ms. Dennison moved to approve the Minutes of the February 1,2007 Regular Meeting. Mr. Huber seconded~ All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. PROOF OF PUBLICATION Mr. Kutz moved to accept the proof of publication for the Public Hearing being considered~ Mr~ V olk seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. PUBLIC HEARINGS Hold a Public Hearing to consider a Conditional Use for Vehicular Dealer Sales (used cars) for Truck Max at 2207 W. 1st Street. Lewis A. and Carol A. Coombs, property owners; Ronald Santilli - Truck Max, representative. Mr. Kutz moved to approve the Conditional Use per staffs recommendation with the exception to allow the existing 8-ft. chain link fence to remain with the requirement of it being painted black. Mr. Huber seconded~ All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. STAFF REPORTS A staff report was distributed for the board's review~ Mr. Robertson informed the board Mr. Gibson is looking to hire a consultant to address the compliance of all non-conforming signs. MINUTES - MARCH 1, 2007 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PAGE 2 COMMISSIONERS REPORTS Mr. Kutz asked why the vote for Schedule U was placed on hold until the next City Commission meeting. Mr. Robertson reported the Mayor requested it be held to allow Commissioner Jones to be present. Mr~ Kutz asked if there could be a time limit rule when there is a heavy agenda or a controversial issue on the agenda. Mr. Robert said the board voted not to follow Roberts Rules of Order and as Chairman he can restrict the time ifnecessary. Mr. Robertson said he could develop some rules and regulations and present them to the board and he also has some examples that could be utilized. Mr. Kutz requested the Board to recommend to the City Commission to require all new construction plans, whether it is commercial or single-family, to include drainage engineering drawings. Mr. Robertson said he will research what the city and state codes require and will report back to the board. CITIZEN P ARTICIP A TION None.
